Une inspiration d’ici et d’ailleurs
Architecte d’intérieur et antiquaire, passionnée par la céramique, Anne-Sophie Ernest a puisé son inspiration lors de ses nombreux voyages en Asie et dans le patrimoine qui l’entoure pour créer Atelier FRA. En 2009, c’est au Laos et au Cambodge que sa vie professionnelle et artistique prend un tournant différent. « En visitant des ateliers de tissage et de céramique, j’ai eu un véritable coup de cœur », se souvient-elle. À son retour en Belgique, elle commence à dessiner des collections d’objets qu’elle intègre alors dans ses aménagements d’intérieur, notamment des vasques pour la salle de bain et des accessoires pour la cuisine. En 2021, elle décide d’explorer de nouveaux horizons en basculant son activité exclusivement vers l’art de la table et les objets en céramique.
